Q: 2007 Toyota Corolla CE: adding fog lights, where to purchase?
I just bought a used car. Would like to add fog lights in the manufacturer's location since the bumper does not support independent lights. Since Toyota does not manufacturer a kit to upgrade the car, does any body know where to buy an after market kit made for this car?

A: ebay!

Q: does a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE have an engine governor?
Just wondering. If it does, where is it located? how can u take out the "firmware"? I thought this was yahoo answers. NO ONE ever has any good answers! Just stupid comments. If u have an answer please say, if u don't then refrain from answering, PLEASE!

A: no separate governor. There is rpm and speed limiting built into the firmware in the "chip".

Q: Difference between a 2007 toyota corolla ce and a corolla s is what?

A: i dont know but try comparing them at Yahoo! Autos

Q: How can I make my 2007 Toyota Corolla CE look better?
So my parents gave me their grey-ish 2007 Toyota Corolla CE and I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to how to mod it and make it look it nicer? Eg sound system, lights, deck, etc. I'm trying not to spend too much money on it, but if anyone has any ideas as to what can be done to it along with company names so I know what to look for when I go to buy stuff. I was thinking about putting in those bright white/blue lights (not sure what they are called - if anyone can help me with that? And also a new sound system (sub/amp/speakers) and also a new deck (contemplating whether to get a built in GPS in the deck or just a portable one?). Any suggestions are helpful, thanks all.

A: Take a bath and style your hair. Get some nicer clothes. The car looks alright, but it will look better clean and waxed. The sound system is adequate, but if you have other ideas, there are tons of speakers you can buy. The stereo is loud enough, but if you want a sub and amp, shop for a set compact enough to fit. This is a small car and filling it with sound is easy. Go to Toyota and look in their custom options counter, or go to Best Buy and see what they have that you like better. You're restricted to what is possible snce you don't want to spend too much money. It would be better for you to save up money to pay for regular service, tires and alignment when the car needs it. What I like most about my Corolla is that it looks like thousands of other Corollas and when I drive with "enthusiasm" the usual suspect is anybody, practically. Get a portable GPS and don't leave it in the car. The heat will ruin the internal battery. I like Garmin.

Q: 2007 Toyota Corolla, CE, LE, S?
I live in canada and was going to pick up a corolla ce (special ed), but found out it doesnt have ABS on it. however if i upgrade to a LE, its going to hit me for somewhere in the high 20 000's of dollars. (28-29?) which of these has the ABS option standard (couldn't find it on the site) or which one would you go for? thanks

A: I wouldnt get a Corolla altogether. It is on Forbes list of least safe vehicles with a rating of "poor", and came in 5/6 in Car and Drivers most recent small sedan test. You can go to CarandDriver.com and look under comparison tests if you dont believe me. It also has all of the common Toyota problems http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjBWXBH9.rW4w8Xffa0c8Ujty6IX?qid=20070301210328AAn8E5d

Q: Trade-in my 6 mo. old 2007 toyota corolla CE with 2008 Mitsubishi lancer can I do that?
first time buyer here... too late till I found out that Mitsubishi is offering more features on their Lancer

A: To trade a great and reliable car like a Corolla for a Mitsubishi does not sound like a smart move to me. The Lancer is a new model, I would wait a year or two to see how their quality measures up. Mitsubishi had some issues in the past, they are nowhere near Toyota in terms of quality.

Q: 2007 toyota corolla ce?
which engine oil (coventional or synthetic) that meets my car specs ,besides toyota genuine motor oil

A: Penzoil, Castrol, Mobil, Quaker State, ETC. as long as the weight of the oil is what's recommended for your car, I believe its 5w30. Read the manual. Also make sure the oil is API certified.

Q: 2007 Toyota corolla ce owners?
how much do you pay a month for your car? did you give a down payment?

A: your question is really going to depend on the interest rate you are able to get. id suggestgoing to a bank and asking for a loan or have someone co-sign with you if its your first car

Q: Is 295 a month with 820 down a good lease payment for 36 months on a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE ?

A: Leasing is rarely a good option. By my calculation, that comes out to 11,440. You can BUY a Corolla for not much more than that (~14K)and at the end of the payments, it's yours. I'm not a fan of buying new cars either.

Q: Toyota Corolla 2007. CE, Car Alarm. ?
I'm in alot of crap right now. I installed a Bass System in my car (Car ampfilier and subwoofers) and when the power wire fell off. I put it back on the car ampiflier and then for some reason. My stereo came on. And my keys were not even in the Ignition. Has this happended to anyone? (Stock Radio) In addition now my car alarm now does not work Whenever i push the lock button on my key chain it USUALLY makes a beep (indicating that it is locked) now when i press it The car locks but it does not beep. Does any one know why??? plz? I am planning to take the car back to the dealership and removing the car additions and putting them in The thing with that is. I can remove all the installments and making it Stock and bring it back to the dealership. So the car's warranty is not affected in any way.

A: I GUARANTEE YOU THAT IF YOU TAKE ALL THIS STUFF OUT AND TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND TRY TO SCAM YOUR WAY INTO TRYING TO GET IT FIXED UNDER WARRANTY,IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.ALL DEALERSHIPS HAVE ELECTRICAL SPECIALTY TECHNICIANS THAT WILL BE ABLE TO TRACK IT DOWN TO WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS ORIGINATED.DON'T EMBARRASS YOURSELF.TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TELL THEM EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID SO THAT IT WILL BE CHEAPER FOR YOU TO HAVE THE PROBLEM RESOLVED.GOOD LUCK.

Q: Why is my Corolla so fast?
I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE. Its the stock 1.8L engine non-turbo. Automatic. No mods. has 17,500 miles. I (seriously, no joke) don't understand how I smoked a Supra, 350Z, and STi. I took off and still could catch up to them. And passed them! How could this happen? They were racing me. They all burned out at the stop light and you could hear the engines reving. One guy even look at me with an angry face. Oh, yeah, and I timed myself 0-60 in 5.9 Secs. No Joke.

A: You where racing, and they where not. Just because you passed those cars does not mean that your "Corolla" is fast lol. It is one of the slowest cars out there. You must have never been in a fast car before. The 0-60 time on your corolla is above 9 seconds. If I took you from 0-60 in my evo with a time of 3 seconds you would most likely crap yourself lol ADDED!!!! HA HA HA! Even if your time was 5.9 to 0-60 "which it does not" That is still slower than the cars you listed. BURNOUTS ARE NOT RACING!! Those guys where showing off lol They where like "my car does burnouts and yours doesnt" Seriously kid. You arent talking to your little freinds at school. We are not ignorant about cars.

Q: 2007 toyota corolla trim question?
wat is the diffrence between a ce,s,le, for the corolla bc im going to buy one but i dont know the diffrence. Can u plz help me?

A: Toyota has a pretty straightforward comparison chart on their own site: http://www.toyota.com/corolla/models.html CE is the bottom model S is the mid-range model LE is the top model However, Toyota tends to make everything an option (as opposed to Honda which bundles their options with different trim levels), so likely there is a lot of overlap depending on what options you choose with each model.

Q: pennzoil platinum *corolla*?
is it ok if i make my next oil change with pennzoil platinum with a amsoil oilfilter (which i have right now with me )or some other filter? *2007 toyota corolla ce* it doesnt say in the back label ...but says other oem requirements.

A: Pennzoil is great and all, but just get some Castrol and use a Fram filter, as long as you use the right viscosity oil it will be just fine. And to the post above me, you cannot get away with driving an entire year, OR for 25,000 miles with any type of oil, 7500 is the most you can really get away with without rendering your oil completely useless. as you drive your car, moving parts create small metal shavings, this is ANY car. the oil suspends said shavings and there is, or there usually, is a small magnet either in the oil pan or on the drain plug itself to collect the small pieces of metal. once you go mote than 7000 miles the oil has suspended as much as it possibly can. it then stays on the moving parts and causes unnecessary wear which calls for a rebuild.

Q: Can you connect an iPod to car without using AUX or an FM transmitter?
I HATE FM transmitters. I live near to NY city and all the stations come out static-y. My car does not have AUX and I really don't want to replace the stereo. (Too much $$) I have seen kits that can add AUX to my stereo, but they seem pretty expensive also. Are they any other alternatives? I have an iPod touch and a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE. HELP!

A: if you have a casette player you can...get an adapter that plugs into your itouch, and then to the casette sounds great and NO static

Q: Do you think your car payment is too high?
How much is your monthly payment and what kind of car do you drive? I pay $285/mo. (72 month loan). I drive a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE

A: $277/mo 72 mo 07 Ford Focus SE My own fault for not taking care of my credit when i was young and stupid.
