Q: My chek engine light went on in my 2004 toyota corolla ce...theres about 13,700 miles on it...what is the prob
A: There could be any number of problems. But Auto Zone will be able to read the code and tell you what's wrong. Could be any things from your gas cap is leaking fumes to something that will cause your car to break down on the side of the road. I would deffinatly recomend taking it to Auto Zone. They will be able to tell you whats wrong and won't charge you for it. Good luck with this issue.
Q: Putting a spoiler on an 04 corolla CE?
I bought a 2004 Toyota Corolla CE about 7 months ago and it's black. I want to put a spoiler on it but not a huge retarded looking one like on sport cars.. just a nice small factory looking one. I love how the Corolla S(sport) looks with a spoiler. Only reason i didnt get one was cause CE's were cheaper. How do i go about getting a spoiler? and i know they can be expensive but how expensive?
A: check toyota dealers. sometimes they have one or two for sale. if your lucky they might even have it in your color. they're around $100-$200.
Q: Can I install "after-market" power locks on a 2004 Toyota Corolla?
I have an 04 Corolla CE. Great car. When we bought it, we did not have kids. Now we have 2 and do not have power locks...I like and want to keep the car. Can someone recommend a place that might install power locks in Atlanta? The dealership said they would not do it.
Thanks.
A: Talmy,
Find a good reputable place that installs after-market accessories such as alarms and stereos. There are kits made with adjustable parts that will fit anything. They aren't even expensive. Any car can be made to have power locks - even something from the 60's.

Q: Fuel Pump For Toyota Corolla ?
I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla Ce. It Needs The Fuel Pump That It Originally Comes With I Don't Want The Complete Assembly . The Top Does Not Look Long It Looks Somewhat Flat And The Numbers It Says But I Don't Know If Its The Model Number 3103f and 291000-0010. Will Choose Best Answer
A: I am not even really sure what your question is....
Q: Toyota Corolla Price?
Is 8,998 a good price for a used 2004 toyota corolla ce with 117k miles?
A: Not even if it had automatic transmission and air conditioning and was in pristine condition.
A more realistic "fair" price would be MUCH closer to $6,500.
Q: Is a 2004-2005 Toyota corolla better than a 2004-2005 honda civic coupe?which would you prefer?
Whats the difrence betweem corolla ce, le, and S
can i also get 0-60 times. Thanks!
A: Both are good cars; check out Consumer reports for reliability data.
If you are concerned about acceleration, go with the Civic since it can be modified with lots of aftermarket stuff. Personally, I own an 05 Corolla and feel like it has enough get up and go for me.
The S has slightly different body moldings, the CE is a bit more bsis, the LE has more standard equipment.

Q: Which Toyota Corolla should I get?
1) Dark blue 2004 Toyota Corolla LE w/ 60,000 miles
2) Red 2007 Toyota Corolla CE w/ 40,000 miles
Would it be better to get the older model, because it's an LE with about 12,000 miles per year compared to the newer CE with 20,000 miles per year?
The 2004's retail price ($10,950) is $250 less than the 2007's discounted price of $11, 200 (used to be $17,999)
Neither car has been in an accident
Thanks!
A: I would want to test drive both, and take a look at the engine. You want to make sure all the wires are in good shape, Nothing is welded together (shows signs of repair and a possible accident), nice to see if everything is stock, see if oils are full (if low there may be a leak), etc. If the newer one has a nice engine with no signs of excessive wear, I'd get the 2007. It is only 8,000 miles per year more, and if the previous owner didn't mess with it, it should be a great car!

Q: Okay i need help?
I have an 2004 Toyota Corolla CE and today i was on my way home from work and i started to notice that my brakes were like rubbing together really bad and it scared me cause it never really happened before and ive had the car since 2004 i really don't know what to do about it i mean i only have one car and me and my mom share the Toyota and my dad has his own car but we still gotta have a car to get back and fourth to work if any body has any information to help that would be great thanks!
Ronnie!
A: Some brake pads have wear indicators on them that will make a metal to metal scapping noise when they are wore down to the point where they need replacing.Pull a front wheel off and look at the rotor and pads.if the rotors still look good with no grooves wore in them you might get away with just replacing the pads.If the rotors are tore up it's major brake job time. They used to turn rotors but now days they just replace them.
Q: Car won't start, battery checked, but dead twice in one day?
I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla CE with 34,000 miles on it. It has a very clean engine.
Today I drove it about 30 miles and parked at a library. Two hours later I returned and the car wouldn't start. I jumped the car and drove it for 30-45 minutes (a lot on the freeway) and went to a Schucks. When I parked and turned off the car, it would not start again.
Schucks tested the battery and the alternator. The battery is a weak battery (like its capacity is weak--300 something insteadof 500 something?), but they charged it in the store and it seemed to be fine so they didn't think that was the problem. The alternator also showed to be charging. They found that my belt was cracking, but didn't think that was causing the battery problem (though I should replace it)
They determined I must have left my lights on or something and worn down the battery that way, but my car beeps when I don't turn off the lights and there are no interior lights to manually leave on so I didn't think that was right.
I didn't have anything replaced right away. I drove my car several other places without any trouble and hoped it would hold through the weekend, but this evening the car wouldn't start again.
I'm assuming the battery is dead again. I don't know what the problem is. Is the battery just at the end of its life and needs to be replaced? Is it the alternator? Both were tested and found to be fine, so I'm miffed.
The A/C hasn't worked all that well for awhile, but I didn't think that was related. Adding it in here just in case.
Any ideas? I don't mind replacing parts I have to replace but I dont want to replace just the battery and then find out it is the alternator or replace the alternator and the battery and find out it is something else, etc.
I can try to provide any additional information if I know what to look for.
Please help!
About the battery: I will visually check it in the morning, but the battery overall looked cleaned up pretty shiny this afternoon so I doubt I will find corrosion or discoloration. Other than by sight, is there a way I am supposed to check to see if the connection is faulty?
A: Check the connection between the battery post and the battery terminal (on both positive and negative). Make sure they are both clean and shiny and absent of any major discolration or corrosion. A bad connection can keep your battery from charging correctly, plus it can give you incorrect readings on tests if you hook the tester to the terminals instead of the posts, like telling you that the alternator test checked good when really it's having a hard time charging the battery through the bad connections.
If the connections are fine, then it's your battery - replace it
Q: Digital Clock on dashboard?
I have a Toyota Corolla CE 2004 . Everything electronic works except the Lights for the digital dashboard clock . I am not an electrician so when responding can you tell me 1. Do you think, It is the fuse. If It is, where is the fuse box located, 2. If not, what are your suggestions.
Thanks.
When I locate the fuse, does it say specifically on it which fuse is for the clock ?
What does the car battery have to do with digital clock ? Just asking
A: only thing i could add would be check the fuse. the fuse box should be under your steering wheel or in that general area just pull at one of the plastic under parts and it should reveal it self. if it looks like nothing is able to come off then check the left and right side of the dash with the door open sometimes manufacter's like to put them there also. main question is if the clock is still working or not. if it is then its probably not the fuse and just a bulb. if the clock is dead then is prolly the fuse or the clock it self
